What is a UNESCO Global Geopark?

Des actions de protection et de valorisation de sites d’intérêt géologiques y sont développées en lien avec les patrimoines naturels et culturels du territoire. C’est, entre autres, un espace de développement du géotourisme et de sensibilisation à l’utilisation durable des ressources de la Terre, au changement climatique et la réduction des impacts des catastrophes naturelles.
