UNESCO DESIGNATIONS
A worldwide recognition
The Luberon Regional Nature Park has been designated as a UNESCO Global Geopark in 2004 and is part of the UNESCO’s international network of Biosphere Reserves since 1997.
The Luberon Park gains worldwide recognition and benefit from an exchange of knowledge, expertise, experience and staff under the umbrella of UNESCO and through cooperation with the global geopark network partners and the Man and the Biosphere (MAB) World Network of Biosphere Reserves.
