Haut lieu de l\u2019histoire de la Provence et situ\u00e9 dans cet \u00e9crin de nature qu\u2019est le massif du Luberon, il constitue un \u00e9quipement public qui accueille aujourd\u2019hui les enfants du Luberon et leurs enseignants dans le cadre de s\u00e9jours d\u2019\u00e9ducation \u00e0 l\u2019environnement et au territoire.<\/p>\n<\/div><div class=\"fusion-clearfix\"><\/div>\n\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div><div  class=\"fusion-layout-column fusion_builder_column fusion_builder_column_1_5  fusion-one-fifth fusion-column-last fusion-spacing-no 1_5\"  style='margin-top:0px;margin-bottom:0px;width:20%;width:calc(20% - ( ( 0 ) * 0.6 ) );'>\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"fusion-column-wrapper\" style=\"padding: 0px 0px 0px 0px;background-position:left top;background-repeat:no-repeat;-webkit-background-size:cover;-moz-background-size:cover;-o-background-size:cover;background-size:cover;\"  data-bg-url=\"\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"fusion-title title fusion-sep-none fusion-title-size-three pnrl-tp-article\" style=\"margin-top:0px;margin-bottom:31px;\"><h3 class=\"title-heading-left\">De la demeure Renaissance au Ch\u00e2teau de l&#8217;environnement<\/h3><\/div><div class=\"fusion-text\"><p><strong>Le ch\u00e2teau de Buoux est \u00e9difi\u00e9 au d\u00e9but du XVIe si\u00e8cle<\/strong> par la famille Buoux-Pontev\u00e8s sur la route historique reliant Aix-en-Provence \u00e0 Apt, avec son corps de logis, ses fen\u00eatres \u00e0 meneaux et son escalier \u00e0 vis hors-\u0153uvre typiques de la Renaissance.<br \/>\nErig\u00e9 en marquisat en 1650, l\u2019ensemble du domaine fait alors l\u2019objet de grands travaux. A l\u2019int\u00e9rieur, une importante campagne d\u2019am\u00e9nagement et de d\u00e9coration est lanc\u00e9e par Louis de Pontev\u00e8s : d\u00e9cors peints de la chapelle, gypseries dans les salles de r\u00e9ception.<\/p>\n<p>A l\u2019ext\u00e9rieur, <strong>de vastes jardins<\/strong>\u00a0sont \u00e9galement cr\u00e9\u00e9s. De grandes terrasses \u00e0 balustres mettent en sc\u00e8ne diff\u00e9rents parterres. Y prennent place un escalier monumental et sa fontaine \u00e0 cascatelles, un miroir d\u2019eau et un nymph\u00e9e. Plus loin, une t\u00e8se est am\u00e9nag\u00e9e et de grandes perspectives sont cr\u00e9\u00e9es avec une grande all\u00e9e de marronniers et un belv\u00e9d\u00e8re-promontoire. De longues restanques en pierre s\u00e8ches sont \u00e9difi\u00e9es autour du ch\u00e2teau pour y installer des terrasses de culture. Faute d\u2019entretien suffisant, le ch\u00e2teau et ses jardins, vont lentement mais s\u00fbrement se d\u00e9grader, pour certaines parties jusqu\u2019\u00e0 la ruine.<\/p>\n<p>En 1986, le Parc naturel r\u00e9gional du Luberon fait l\u2019acquisition du ch\u00e2teau pour y d\u00e9velopper sa mission p\u00e9dagogique et accueillir les enfants du territoire dans ce qui allait devenir <strong>le Ch\u00e2teau de l\u2019environnement<\/strong>.<br \/>\nD\u00e8s lors, il entreprend r\u00e9guli\u00e8rement des travaux de restauration et d\u2019am\u00e9nagement du site pour pr\u00e9server et transmettre ce patrimoine aux g\u00e9n\u00e9rations futures.<\/p>\n<\/div><div class=\"fusion-clearfix\"><\/div>\n\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"fusion-fullwidth fullwidth-box nonhundred-percent-fullwidth non-hundred-percent-height-scrolling\"  style='background-color: rgba(255,255,255,0);background-position: center center;background-repeat: no-repeat;padding-top:30px;padding-right:0px;padding-bottom:0px;padding-left:0px;'><div class=\"fusion-builder-row fusion-row \"><div  class=\"fusion-layout-column fusion_builder_column fusion_builder_column_1_5  fusion-one-fifth fusion-column-first fusion-spacing-no 1_5\"  style='margin-top:0px;margin-bottom:0px;width:20%;width:calc(20% - ( ( 0 + 0 ) * 0.2 ) );margin-right: 0px;'>\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"fusion-column-wrapper\" style=\"padding: 0px 0px 0px 0px;background-position:left top;background-repeat:no-repeat;-webkit-background-size:cover;-moz-background-size:cover;-o-background-size:cover;background-size:cover;\"  data-bg-url=\"\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"fusion-clearfix\"><\/div>\n\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div><div  class=\"fusion-layout-column fusion_builder_column fusion_builder_column_3_5  fusion-three-fifth fusion-blend-mode fusion-spacing-no 3_5\"  style='margin-top:0px;margin-bottom:0px;width:60%;width:calc(60% - ( ( 0 + 0 ) * 0.6 ) );margin-right: 0px;'>\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"fusion-column-wrapper\" style=\"background-color:rgba(35,99,120,0.12);padding: 20px 4% 20px 4%;background-position:left top;background-repeat:no-repeat;-webkit-background-size:cover;-moz-background-size:cover;-o-background-size:cover;background-size:cover;\"  data-bg-url=\"\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"fusion-title title fusion-sep-none fusion-title-size-four pnrl-tp-article\" style=\"margin-top:0px;margin-bottom:10px;\"><h4 class=\"title-heading-left\">\u2014 Depuis 1986, un \u00e9quipement public d\u00e9di\u00e9 \u00e0 l&#8217;\u00e9ducation et l&#8217;environnement<\/h4><\/div><div class=\"fusion-text\"><p>Depuis plus de 30 ans, le Parc naturel r\u00e9gional du Luberon accueille au Ch\u00e2teau de Buoux des classes en s\u00e9jours d\u2019\u00e9ducation \u00e0 l\u2019environnement et au territoire.<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.parcduluberon.fr\/un-quotidien-a-preserver\/education-au-territoire\/chateau-de-lenvironnement-buoux\/\"><strong>Ces s\u00e9jours immersifs d\u2019une semaine au c\u0153ur du Luberon<\/strong><\/a> permettent aux enfants et adolescents (du primaire au lyc\u00e9e de toute la R\u00e9gion Sud) de d\u00e9couvrir la richesse et la fragilit\u00e9 des patrimoines naturels et culturels de la Provence, de prendre conscience des enjeux du d\u00e9veloppement durable et d\u2019exp\u00e9rimenter le vivre ensemble.<br \/>\nChaque ann\u00e9e, c\u2019est une soixantaine de classes et pr\u00e8s de 1 500 \u00e9l\u00e8ves qui sont accueillis sur le site.<\/p>\n<p>Parall\u00e8lement, et pour conforter la vocation environnementale du site, le Parc du Luberon y a cr\u00e9\u00e9 d\u00e8s 1996<a href=\"https:\/\/paca.lpo.fr\/soins-animaux\"> <strong>le Centre r\u00e9gional de sauvegarde de la faune sauvage<\/strong><\/a>. Ce centre de soins, g\u00e9r\u00e9 \u00e0 pr\u00e9sent par la Ligue pour la protection des oiseaux de Provence-Alpes-C\u00f4te d\u2019azur (LPO), a pour vocation de soigner les animaux sauvages bless\u00e9s de toute la r\u00e9gion (petits vert\u00e9br\u00e9s, rapaces&#8230;) avant de les remettre en libert\u00e9.<\/p>\n<\/div><div class=\"fusion-sep-clear\"><\/div><div public scolaire, et d\u2019en faire profiter \u00e9galement les adultes pour les sensibiliser aux enjeux du d\u00e9veloppement durable, le Parc naturel r\u00e9gional du Luberon pr\u00e9pare l\u2019ouverture du site \u00e0 de nouveaux publics et \u00e0 de nouvelles activit\u00e9s p\u00e9dagogiques \u00e0 l\u2019horizon 2027.<\/p>\n<p>En d\u00e9veloppant pour cela <strong>un centre d\u2019interpr\u00e9tation des patrimoines <\/strong><strong>unique en son genre par sa dimension immersive<\/strong>, le Ch\u00e2teau de Buoux deviendra un v\u00e9ritable lieu de d\u00e9monstration des missions et des valeurs du Parc, ainsi qu\u2019un lieu cr\u00e9ateur de lien social pour les habitants et visiteurs du pays d\u2019Apt et du Luberon, petits et grands.<\/p>\n<p>Pour permettre cette ouverture du site et d\u00e9velopper ces nouvelles activit\u00e9s, des \u00e9tudes sont en cours afin d&#8217;organiser les travaux de restauration et d\u2019am\u00e9nagement du Ch\u00e2teau qui
