NATURAL HABITATS AND BIODIVERSITY<\/strong>
\nPreserving biodiversity and natural resources<\/p><\/h1><\/div>

The Park Charter (2009-2021) set down the park\u2019s environmental objectives. The Park’s mission is to protect and manage the natural, cultural and landscape heritage. <\/strong><\/p>\n

As regards nature conservation, the park plays an active role in preserving its remarkable biodiversity, promoting a sustainable use of its natural resources, and raising public awareness of its natural heritage.<\/strong>
\nAction by the Regional Nature Park of Luberon embraces a broad range of initiatives:<\/strong>
\n> protect and manage natural resources<\/strong>
\n> implement a territorial forest charter<\/strong>
\n> improve scientific and naturalistic knowledge<\/strong>
\n> help residents and visitors to protect natural habitats<\/strong>
\n> strengthen the protection of threatened species and habitats<\/strong>
\n> act in partnership with hunters and fishermen<\/strong>
\n> contribute to the Natura 2000 network<\/strong><\/p>\n
