Explore the Geosites of the Luberon UNESCO Global Geopark
About fifty geosites have been identified within the Geopark territory to help you discover the Earth’s heritage. Some have been developed with facilities to ensure accessibility and enhance understanding, while others are crossed by hiking trails. In all cases, they offer an opportunity to explore the geological history and landscapes of the area and to understand the relationship between humans and the Earth.

Our Geopark offers, in partnership with the agency Escursia, a five-day geological stay:
Get ready for 5 days discovering the mosaic of landscapes, perched villages, rocks and fossils, and other geological curiosities of the Luberon, which contribute to the international recognition of this territory as a UNESCO Global Geopark! Through site visits, hikes, and encounters the Urgonian limestone of the Vaucluse Mountains to the most recent terrains of the Durance plain, the journey is designed like an open book where each page bears witness to the strong ties between Humans and the Earth in the Luberon.
